Two years ago at the age of 21 Cheyenne was diagnosed with endometriosis. In March 2021 she underwent surgery to remove endometrial tissue that had attached itself to several organs and areas within her body with the hopes of improving the pain that it caused. In January of this year the pain returned, she had to undergo additional tests and scans. As a result she was told that the endometrial tissue was growing back and had invaded her Fallopian tubes causing a complete blockage. She was told that she would be unable to conceive a child the natural way and the rapid regrowth of the endometrial tissue may render her infertile. Cheyenne has always expressed a desire to be a mother. She wanted to complete her degree and establish her career as a Veterinarian before starting a family. At the age of 23 she’s now facing the fact that IVF and God’s mercy is the only way she will be able to realize her dream of becoming a mother. IVF is a very costly treatment for those that suffer from infertility. Some may need to go through multiple cycles of treatment before conceiving if at all. The emotional and financial toll that it takes on a couple is immense and because this has happened at this stage in her life Cheyenne will be undertaking this as a single mother. The fact that she will be a single mother will not mean that her future child will be loved any less nor does it mean he/she will be lacking in any necessity. Cheyenne has and will always have a strong support system behind her. She and her child will be loved, supported and cherished immensely.
